HCID Lab visited the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show and visited the Dessau Bauhaus Museum

HCID Lab visited the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019 for research conducted by Professor Eui Chul Jung, “Integrated interior design development for autonomous driving through the creation of UX for new business.” The Frankfurt Motor Show, which was conducted under the theme of “Driving Tomorrow,” exhibited electric cars and autonomous vehicles, keywords for the future of the automobile industry, and currently announced cars. Mercedes Benz presented user bio-interlocking and intermodal mobility as future mobility solutions in a special exhibition hall. In addition, companies involved in manufacturing automotive interior parts, such as Continental and Bosch, presented internal components and products that applied the technology of self-driving vehicles. During the exhibition, the research team experienced self-driving vehicles, interior components of the vehicles, implementation technology, and concept autonomous driving vehicles, and collected data for research purposes.

In addition, they visited the Dessau Bauhaus Museum, which was planned to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the opening of Bauhaus, the Bauhaus Teacher, and the Ulm Academy of Fine Arts, which inherited Bauhaus’ spirit.
